DREAM TAXIDERMIA

In order to compose a dream when we sleep, our brain and mind act like the insect collector. They select some pieces of meaning pictures to create a story. These kind of stories are one of the most intimate that we can tell, even if it is partly dies through language, like the insect of the collector, forced to remain static.

During the dream we have access to a all new world in which the collage’s dynamic seams to me very close to the ones in our awaken environment. All the species of living organisms are attached to their own system. By coexisting, theses scalings, theses deferents worlds, are confronted what create a kind of common sense. By pining my dreams in cardboard boxes I wonder about the way we have to live with these dreamlike figures of reality (butterflies, beetle, dragonflies…). Insects belong to a very different classification, complex and intriguing. I like to think that our night dreams can be similar to the metamorphoses they go through.
